Your Care Journey
From initial contact all the way through to yearly review meetings, our dedicated and experienced team are committed to ensuring that our service is consistently delivering a high quality level of care that is centered around are core values. We have broken the care journey into 6 easy to manage steps below.
Step 1
Step 2
Step 3
Collective Collaboration
After initial discussions between Insignia and either your funding bodies, medical professionals or family members, one of the management team will then make contact with you to introduce ourselves and help us understand your specific care needs. They will explain in further detail about our services and enquire how we can tailor our service to meet your individual clinical, personal and social care needs.
Reviewing your personal care needs
If we are successful in being chosen as one of your preferred providers, we will then arrange a home visit with one of our Registered Nurses. Here they will discuss in more detail your care needs and requirements as well as understanding your home dynamics. They will also perform a general risk assessment of your home, so a comprehensive service proposition can be created to meet your specific care needs. This will then be sent to either your funding body or yourself (if self funded) for final tender decision.
Tailoring your personal care plan
If we are given the green light to proceed, we will finalise your personal care plan and arrange an assessment with our in house Moving and Handling Specialist to review your individual needs. You will then be introduced to your dedicated Care Consultant who will be your personal contact and point of call for any requirements.
Step 4
Step 5
Step 6
Assembling your team
Working together, our in house recruitment team and your Care Consultant will use their expertise to create your bespoke care team. They will look at matching any current staff with experience and skills to your individual needs or if required, recruiting new staff specifically for your package of care. All healthcare staff will be introduced via a “meet and greet” process allowing you to have direct involvement in selecting your care team.
Specialist training
Our Healthcare Assistants and your Care Consultant will go through any specialist training to ensure that they have the skills required to provide your personalised care. All training is classroom based and “hands on” provided by our training partner Inspire Training, within our purpose built training suites. Once staff have completed their training programme they will be allocated shadow shifts to ensure that they competent to carry out each clinical task. One of our Registered Nurses will then spend time on shift with each staff member to “sign them off” ready to work.

They will also be in contact with other medical professionals to continually give updates on your care requirements. Our staff will also be quality checked with regular “worked based observations” and “spot checks” to ensure our high standards are maintain throughout your care.
