We are looking for dedicated support workers or people with life transferable skills that have a desire and interest to work with young adults. We have two young adults in Norfolk that require support with their overall mental health and well-being whilst living independently.
There are opportunities to work with either individual or to support both dependant on availability and rotas.
The first young adult is living in her own home in Cringleford (Norwich) and requires support living independently. Whilst she has been given a diagnosis of complex disorders including, mental health challenges and can demonstrate behaviours that challenge, on good days she is bubbly, fun and an outgoing young adult who just wants to succeed in life. She enjoys horse riding, escape rooms and is an avid football fan.
The second young adult lives in her own home in the village of Great Hockham near Attleborough. She has a diagnosis of complex disorders including, Autism (specifically PDA), Mental Health and can demonstrate behaviours that challenge. She requires support around living independently and day to day activities. She enjoys days out to local towns and walks in the surrounding country side.
The successful candidates will have extensive experience supporting people with these needs and be able to offer a consistent & nurturing role in their lives. All positions can be given as a contracted fixed rota position or on a casual basis if preferred.
